Privacy Policy

Overview

Golfund is a point-of-sale application operated by Golf Outing Productions, LLC ("GOP", "we", "us"), designed for charity golf events. GOP is the data controller for personal information collected through Golfund. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information necessary to process charitable donations and operate the application:

• Account information — name, email address, and authentication credentials for event organizers and volunteers.
• Donor information — optionally collected golfer name, email, and phone number for record-keeping purposes.
• Transaction data — donation amounts, categories, timestamps, and processing status.
• Payment information — card data is collected and processed exclusively by Stripe. Golfund never stores, processes, or has access to card numbers or payment credentials.

How We Use Your Information

• Processing charitable donations at golf events via Stripe Terminal.
• Generating transaction reports and summaries for event organizers.
• Authenticating users and managing team access for events.
• Providing real-time donation tracking and analytics during events.

Payment Processing

All payment processing is handled by Stripe. When a donor taps their card on an iPhone running Golfund, the card data is read and transmitted directly to Stripe's secure infrastructure. Golfund does not store, log, or have access to card numbers, CVVs, or other sensitive payment credentials. All payment processing is PCI-compliant through Stripe's certified systems.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Information is shared only with:

• Stripe — for payment processing and compliance.
• Clerk — for authentication and account management.
• Event organizers — who have access to transaction records for the events they manage.

Data Retention

Transaction records are retained for as long as the associated event account is active, to support reporting and auditing needs for charitable organizations. Account information is retained until the account is deleted. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (TLS), secure token storage via the iOS Secure Enclave, and role-based access controls within the application. Authentication tokens are stored using encrypted device storage.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your personal data.
• Export your transaction data via CSV.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the application or via email. Continued use of Golfund after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
